Art x Permaculture, Youth Train Wexford

Facilitating learners in Youth Train ETB through art and permaculture classes, has fuelled my interest and engagement with the local community. We’ve recently begun a mapping project of Whitemill road, with particular focus on the weeds and plants growing in the area. The outcome of our mapping project resulted in cyanotypes. Ecologically-sound processes like Ink-marbling on recycled paper, transforming milk cartons collected from the local café into hanging outdoor planters, dyeing t-shirts with willow leaves and gifting collaged people-care journals have all been previous outcomes of our collaborations.
